This painting is one Ashley considers to be  more unique than some of her realistic landscape paintings, and it is definitely one of her favorites. It was done in acrylic paint on a 24″ x 48″ canvas, which is one of the biggest paintings she’s done, so it took a lot of time but also a lot of imagination. Ashley was able to explore some self-expression while doing this painting because she was given a rough idea of what to paint, but she let her imagination take over for the majority of it. It resulted in this vibrant painting that is called “Colorful Cactus Birds.” It was completed on July 4, 2019.
